Mr. Coyne began his career as a lawyer in 1980 at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton in Los Angeles, California. After making partner, he joined the firm's Executive Committee and as the partner primarily responsible for firm strategy, Mr. Coyne helped grow the firm from 70 lawyers to 600 lawyers spread over three continents.
Mr. Coyne began acquiring working interests in onshore oil and gas properties in 1987, followed by fund investments in offshore properties. In 1996, Mr. Coyne and Mr. Engler decided to team together to acquire, drill, and operate oil and gas wells onshore in the U.S. through Mr. Engler's newly formed Pablo Energy, Inc.,. Mr. Coyne and Mr. Engler, with other partners, acquired, drilled, operated, and sold numerous properties in Oklahoma and Texas. Mr. Coyne has a B.B.A. (accounting) from the University of Notre Dame and J.D. from Stanford Law School.
Mr. Coyne serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Verdugo Energy, LLC, and also serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Pablo Energy II, LLC. Mr. Coyne is located in Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Steed is a Director and serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Verdugo Energy, LLC. Mr. Steed is also the Chief Operating Officer and President of Pablo Energy II, LLC, our operating company located in Amarillo, Texas. Prior to joining Pablo Energy, Inc., in 1997, Mr. Steed was a co-owner of Steed Oil and Gas Company. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in geology from West Texas State University, Mr. Steed held various positions with Arrington Oil & Gas, Getty Oil Company, and Skelly Oil Company.
Mr. Engler serves as a Director of Pablo Energy II, LLC, in Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Engler founded the original Pablo Energy, Inc., in 1995. After graduating from The University of Nebraska College of Agriculture, Mr. Engler co-founded Cactus Feeders, Inc., a commercial cattle feeding company which owns and manages ten modern feed yards with the capacity to feed approximately 500,000 cattle.

Jeff Shrader is an attorney with the law firm of Sprouse, Shrader, and Smith located in Amarillo, Texas. Mr. Shrader acts as General Counsel to our various entities and serves as a Director of Verdugo Energy, LLC.
MICHAEL J. COYNE
Senior Vice President of Administration - Verdugo Energy, LLC
Mr. Coyne is an attorney who joined Verdugo Energy, LLC, on a full-time basis in March of 2013. Prior to joining Verdugo Energy, Mr. Coyne was a litigator in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for thirty years with the law firm of Bacon Wilson, P.C. in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Mr. Coyne assists the President by reviewing the company's contracts and provides in-house legal advice to the President regarding contract construction. Mr. Coyne also advises the President on human resource issues. Mr. Coyne is located in Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Coyne also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Verdugo Energy, LLC. and Pablo Energy II, LLC.
